M Audio fast track ultra audio interface High speed 8x8 USB 2.0 for sale in Brighton, East Sussex for sale

M Audio fast track ultra audio interface High speed 8x8

I am selling an M-Audio Fast Track Ultra. I have owned this piece of equipment for a few years now and although it's in great condition it doesn't get used as often as it should do for such a nifty piece of gear. I am after a quick sale as I was meant to be selling this to a friend along with other gear though he's decided against putting together a home studio so it fell through. I am based near the train station in Nottingham and will do collection only on my items. Looking for £180 ONO. The specs are below (according to MusicRadar): Features LINE OUTPUTS: • SNR and Dynamic Range: -104dB, A-weighted • Signal Level: +10dBu balanced, +2dBV unbalanced... LINE INPUTS: • SNR and Dynamic Range: -103dB, A-weighted • Signal Level: +3.4dBu balanced, +1.2dBV, unbalanced Description The M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8 x 8 audio/MIDI interface takes M-Audio’s acclaimed mobile recording line to the next level with high-speed USB 2.0 connectivity, MX Core DSP mixer and four preamps with award-winning Octane technology. Additional Requirements • COMPATIBILITY: WDM, Core Audio, ASIO 2.0, MME • PC: Windows XP with SP2 or Windows Vista • MAC: OS X 10.3.9 or higher Additional Features MICROPHONE INPUT: • Pre-amp Gain: 60dB or greater • SNR (min gain): -103dB, A-weighted • Dynamic Range (min gain): 103dB, A-weighted • Sensitivity: +1dBu max level at min gain, +21dBu max level at min gain (pad engaged) • Phantom Power: 48 Volts DC no load, 16mA max • Switchable Pad: -20 dB... INSTRUMENT INPUT: • Pre-amp Gain: 0dB to 40dB or greater Blurb from SoundOnSound: M-Audio's Fast Track Ultra packs a lot of I/O into a neat package. It's small enough for the mobile studio but has enough features and channels to deal with the majority of tasks in a home or small project studio. The audio quality is very good indeed, the drivers seem solid and the Control Panel software, while not particularly appealing to the eye, gets the job done with a minimum of fuss. The included DSP effects are also a bonus and will make the recording process that much more pleasant for vocalists who like to have some reverb in their headphones when they're singing. This feature alone would make the Fast Track Ultra worth auditioning alongside the extensive competition in the compact USB/Firewire interface market.
