In very good condition and weighs under 6 kg. The sculpture is made in a solid block of Styrofoam; the surface is glued woven fabric with papier mache on top and is painted to look like gray granite. It was made as scene décor for the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm, Sweden. The texture and colour are very similar to stone and people who see the statue for the first time often walk up to it and touch it, wondering how you got a three tonne statue into your living room. Height: 243 cm, the base is 60x60 cm and the largest width of the upper torso is 73 cm. The person next to the statue in the photo is 178 cm. As the statue is made of Styrofoam it floats, which can be handy when at sea. For example, it can be used as a floatation device when fishing for sea monsters. If anchored on the sea floor it can be used as a buoy. The low weight also comes in handy when on an airplane or a hot air balloon. No need to worry about being charged for overweight luggage. The people at the check-in desk at the airport might object to the size, but I've never had a problem with that. Just explain that it's Winston Churchill and it will get sorted. During our summer holidays, the statue has often flown next to the pilot in the cockpit. Churchill is also a very good listener. If you want a confidant or just someone to converse with, he's all ears! He'll listen patiently, will never judge you, and your secrets are forever safe with him.
