Mackie Onyx 1640i for sale. Based in Brighton. I bought this new from GAK about 4 years ago for around £1500 and it has been carefully looked after in a smoke-free studio so it is in good condition. It is a fantastic desk with a 16 in/16 out firewire interface built in, allowing you to record 16 channels simultaneously, and it also gives you the option to bring back 16 channels onto the desk from your DAW to allow you to mix in analogue if you like working that way. The boutique Onyx preamps are very clean and quiet, and the Perkins EQ is excellent. I have used this desk to track several albums and EP's in a professional studio environment and have always been really pleased with the results. It would also make a fantastic live desk enabling you to record a multitrack session of the gig directly to your laptop. Compatible with all major DAWs. £500.
